The technical committee responsible for preparing the return of farmers to their land at Nouakchott met Tuesday morning under the chairmanship of the wali mouçaid for Economic Affairs, Mr. Mohamedou Ould El Guéraa.
During the meeting, participants attended reports on the progress of the operation. In this context, it was found that the number of candidates initially rose. The number of candidates to start is now 103 families Tevragh Zeina, 251 to Arafat, 116 in Ksar, 55 in Dar Naim and 58 to Toujounine.
According to the adviser to the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Mr. Mohamed Ould Lareiby, the departure of the first contingent of farmers is expected on July 5.
